| Golf a la Carte |
The Best Golf under the Sun: It's not just the climate
which makes Dubai so popular to golfers; it's the top quality courses and
facilities. Accept the challenge of the Gulf's championship courses and enjoy
world-class golf - regardless of whether you are a professional or an amateur
player:
- Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club is spectacularly situated beside the
Creek and close to the city centre. Here you can pit your skills against the
notorious water hazards, tricky sand traps and deceptive contours of this
18-hole, par 72 tropical course. And the golf need not end at sunset - play
continues long after dark on the floodlit 9-hole, par 3 course.
- The Emirates Golf Club offers players a choice of challenges. With its
five lakes and other hazards, the awesome Majlis course calls for accuracy and
length. Or test your expertise on the Wadi course, where the natural contours
of the desert provide their own unique challenge.
- Nad Al Sheba Club's floodlit, links-style, 18-hole, par 71 course is set in
and around a camel and horse race track. The undulating hills of the course,
with its deep bunkers and large lakes, are open to the desert winds so that
here accuracy rather than length is the measure of skill.
- Or why not combine a day of golf with relaxation, and enjoy the facilities
of the Jebel Ali Golf Resort and spa. The 9-hole golf course is exotically
landscaped to provide superb views of the Arabian Gulf, with four tees offering
different levels of playability. Alternatively, you can take advantage of the
floodlit driving range and putting green.
- Venture further a field and be among the first players to test the Abu
Dhabi Golf Club. Play either the 72 par 18-hole National course with its
tree-lined fairways, water lakes and strategically placed bunkers or the
18-hole Garden course, which includes nine floodlit holes for night play.
The golf packages include:
One round of golf (18 holes)
Use of electric buggy during the round
Stroke saver index card
One bucket of practice balls
Use of club facilities, including restaurants, bars and sports areas
Use of club dressing room, facilities and overnight storage of clubs
We can arrange temporary membership, subject to the club's rules being strictly
observed. Please note that spikes are not allowed on the courses. Non-members
are welcome to use the attractive restaurants and bars at all the clubs. |
